Crossing at Tecate and heading North East on 2D takes you over the Sierras onto the Sonoran Plain - it is spectacular. Cartoon-like boulders the size of houses spread evenly over deep ravines which eventually opens to the plain below and a veiw south towards San Felipe. Making good time so I'm turning inland and back into the mountains to Campo Mike. As luck would have it, there's a friendly group of riders there from New Jersey. Great guys and got some tips from the guides for destinations south.
