Time to move on

Sometimes decisions are made clear in the middle of the night. I've been considering a trip further into the center of Mexico to scout out Guanajuato, but it's time to start making my way North. It's 2 AM and I'm booking a ticket on Baja Ferries from Mazatlan to La Paz for the coming Sunday. My checkout is this morning and I'll make my way from Tapalpa to Chacala (again) for the final days in Nayarit

Bahia de los Angeles, I'm outta here

Bahia de los Angeles is dramatic, bone dry craggy mountains contrast the deep blue Sea of Cortez. I'm up early ready for three hours of remote dirt road through 15 ft. cactus and talcum powder sections of road.
